Your induction training at AEGON Scottish Equitable is refreshingly different – a five-week programme giving you the skills, knowledge and understanding to start your career with us. The training involves groups of up to 10 people and covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • everything you need to know about AEGON
  • our products
  • processes and systems
  • customer service standards

The five weeks involves a mix of training methods, on-the-job experience, plus full coaching and support from your manager from day one. You’ll also be assigned a ‘buddy’, who makes sure you settle in and feel part of the team.

Training covers all aspects of your job and you’ll have regular meetings with your manager to talk about your progress, set objectives and plan your development.

At the end of the five weeks, you’ll ‘graduate’ to your business area, where you can start to put all the learning into practice.

But of course learning and development doesn’t stop there - this is just the start of it.
